Heartland Training & Support Hub is currently seeking a Safety Smarts Program Coordinator to help lead the delivery of one of Alberta’s longest-running rural safety education programs.

About the Role
The Safety Smarts Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of our program across Alberta, working closely with instructors, schools, and leadership to ensure everything runs smoothly.
This is a flexible, part-time position (approx. 20 hours/week) with a mix of remote work, local office time in Raymond, and occasional travel.
Why This Role Matters
Our Safety Smarts program has been running since 1998 and reaches approximately 50,000 rural elementary students each year, helping them stay safe on farms and in rural environments.
This role plays a key part in continuing that impact across the province.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:

Is highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities

Communicates confidently with schools, instructors, and stakeholders

Is comfortable working independently and taking ownership

Has experience with coordination, administration, or similar roles

Is familiar with tools like Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
